Cork is in the South of Ireland in the province of Muster, along with the Counties of Clare, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and, Waterford. Cork, Clare, Kerry and Waterford are all coastline counties.

Cork is the Gateway to Europe. It has the second largest International Airport in the Country. The Ferry Port is at Ringaskiddy Co. Cork, a natural harbour with sailings to Brittan and Europe, its approximately 30 minutes commute from Cork City. Many of the Pharma industries are in this general area.

The residential market in Cork like any other city has properties from the basic entry level prices right up to the trophy home market, available in both the sales and letting market. There is a lack of supply at the present time. Investors in the residential sector are currently enjoying premium prices for their properties. Measures were taken by the government to control rental prices and certain area’s with the city and county were deemed to be in a “rent pressure Zone” which restricted price increase to 4% every two years.
COMMERCIAL AND OFFICE
Cork has a good supply of properties available at the present time and with shopping centres located on all sides of the City within a ten-mile radius, it gives the investor a fantastic choice of locations.
EXPANSION OF THE CITY.
In June of 2019, the city boundaries were extended incorporating many areas such as Blarney, Tower, Glanmire, Ballincollig, Whites Cross, this will of course result in more housing and re-zoning of lands within these areas in due course.
